Baby Girl's Canyon Cabin Quilt
I haven't posted here in awhile, I know, but that doesn't mean that I haven't been busy quilting away. In the Spring of 2016, my first niece was born and, naturally, I just had to make something for her and her parents to (hopefully) treasure for a good long while.
I used a simple log cabin block pattern and Kate Spain's Canyon line in this quilt, and quite honestly, I absolutely love how this turned out. The white background balanced the bright colours really well, and I loved how the fabric prints played off each other really well. I ended up quilting it some simple wave patterns that really played up the fun-ness of it all.
